Big money is necessary to support a presidential candidate's campaign,and the candidate himself must be rich enough to pay his share.

总统候选人的竞选活动必须要有大量的资金作为支持,或者总统候选人本身有足够的钱来投入竞选

An attractive wife is an advantage,too.

有一个迷人的妻子对竞选也是有好处的(一种优势)。

Money is also needed to become the governor of a state,or a successful Senator,or members of the House of Representatives.

要当州长,或是成功的参议员或众议员都需要投入资金。
