5 Can papyrus
grow tall where there is no marsh? Can reeds thrive without water?
蒲草没有泥,岂能生长。芦荻没有水,岂能生发。
6 Is not wisdom
found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?
年老的人有智慧,长寿的人有知识。
7 The lamp of
the wicked is snuffed out; the flame of his fire stops burning.
恶人的亮光必要熄灭。他的光辉将熄灭。
8 that the
mirth of the wicked is brief, the joy of the godless lasts but a
moment.
恶人夸胜是暂时的,不敬虔人的喜乐,不过转眼之间。
9 There is a
mine for silver and a place where gold is refined. Iron is taken from the
earth, and copper is smelted from ore.
银子有矿,炼金有方。铁从地里挖出,铜从石中溶化。
