As a committed coffee drinker with a weakness for yogurt I vary my milks so that I am not having regular dairy throughout the day. I use plain soy milk in my morning coffee and often have coconut yogurt in place of Greek. But not all milk alternatives are the same; some are better suited for adding to tea or coffee whilst others work best in cereals, porridge or in baking.

Soy milk - heats well but don't overheat. Froths well so ideal for a cappucino. Flavour is mild so won't overwhelm other foods. Evidence suggests that soy can help reduce cholesterol too.
豆奶-最好加热但是不要太热。是制作卡布其诺上面泡沫的理想选择。豆奶的味道比较淡,不会盖过其他食物的味道。有证据显示大豆也可以降低胆固醇。
Almond milk - best drunk cool so have in porridge or on muesli. Separates a little when added to hot drinks.
杏仁奶-冷饮最佳,可以和麦片或什锦早餐搭配。在加入热饮中前先分别放置一段时间。
Coconut milk - fat content is high and thus calories are too. One cup contains as much as 50g fat and 467 calories. Thicker consistency, useful in baking and cooking.
椰奶-脂肪含量和卡路里含量都很高。一杯椰奶约含50g脂肪和467卡路里热量。椰奶粘稠度较高,适合用来烘培和烹饪。
Cashew milk - very gentle flavour, doesn't heat well so best enjoyed cool
腰果奶-味道温和,不适合加热,冷饮最佳
Rice milk - tastes a little like rice and so not ideal in hot drinks. Higher concentration of minerals than others but unlikely to make a significant difference to overall intake.
米浆-口感和米饭很像,不宜加到热饮中。米浆比其他的奶制品矿物质含量更高,但是却不可能以偏概全的说和其他所有的饮品都不一样。
Hazelnut milk - harder to find than others, a stronger nutty flavour too so especially good in porridge or on cereals and muesli.
榛果奶-比起其他的奶制品,榛果奶不太好找,并且有一种奇怪的坚果味道,所以与麦片,谷类,和什锦早餐搭配最佳。

1 Cup Soy Milk; 100 calories, 4g fat, 6g sugar, 7g protein, 8g carbs
1 Cup Coconut Milk; 467 calories, 50.5g fat, 8g sugar, 5g protein, 11g carbs
1 Cup Almond Milk; 60 calories, 2.5g fat, 7g sugar, 1g protein, 8g carbs
