   据美联社报到,15年来,美国阿拉斯加州塔尔基特纳市在一只猫咪市长的“治理”下秩序井然。在15年前该市市长的选举中,选民对几个候选人很不满意,于是自发推选刚出生的猫咪斯塔布斯为候选人,最终它竟然真的当选。更令人没想到的是,“猫咪市长”令该市的旅游业蓬勃发展。这位特殊的市长“管理这个城市的900人,它在市内的综合商店“办公”,每天的任务是“接见”游客。它收到过来自各地的信件和卡片,还在Facebook上有数百名好友。此外,这个市长的要求并不高,只要每天下午都能吃到猫薄荷就行。

  According to an AP's report,Talkeetna, a city of Alaska in USA, has been working well for 15 years under the "lead" of a cat mayor. In the election of Talkeetna's mayor 15 years ago, the electors were very upset about the candidates, so they themselces suggested Stabus, a kitten newly born, as a candidate and finally it really won the election. Furthermore, "cat mayor" has fueled in the boom of the city's tourism. The special mayor "administer" 900 people of this city, "working" in a multi-purpose shop inside city with a mission that "interviewing" with the tourists. It has received cards and correspondences from all over the world, and even had hundreds of friends on Facebook.   Besides, the mayor asks no more than having catnip every afternoon.

   “睡货”们注意了:据英国《每日邮报》近日报道,《睡眠》杂志刊登了一项伦敦大学科学家们关于“中年后睡眠紊乱对日后认知功能影响”的研究,在对5431名参试者展开的为期5年的研究中,科学家发现,在男性参试者中,如果每晚睡眠超过8小时,将会对认知能力产生负面影响,认知能力会加速衰退,同时影响到推理、词汇等能力。而大脑功能恶化最终会导致体质下降甚至令人早亡。研究还指出,人类正常的睡眠时间应为每晚6至8小时,睡眠太多导致的后果与睡眠太少相似,会令大脑衰老提前4到7年。

  “Sleeping lovers” should pay attention:according to a recent report by Britain's Daily Mail, "Sleeping" magazine had published a research by scientists of London University about "post-middle-aged disordered sleeping's impact on future cognitive function". The scientists had found that among the male volunteers, sleeping more than 8 hours every night might influence cognitive function negatively by accelerating cognitive function's declining.Meanwhile, deducibility, words using and other capabilities might also be influenced. And the deterioration of cerebral functions will finally cause constitutional weakness or even earlier death. The research also figured out that human's normal sleeping time should be more than 6 hours but less than 8 hours per night. The results of oversleeping and a lack of sleeping are similar, that is, a 4-to-7-year earlier cerebral decrepitude.
