这几天已经忙挂了。。。。好多消息偶都木有看~等过了这段时间偶慢慢补起来~小伙伴们么么哒~依然是()里面是偶的吐槽。黄色君是我觉得不好翻译的地方。。。

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I lived at West Egg, the – well, the less fashionable of the two, though this is a most superficial tag to express the bizarre and not a little sinister contrast between them.
我住在东卵——2个蛋蛋里面比较寒碜的地方(= =抠字眼好痛苦,球大神这个词怎么翻译。。。),尽管用这个词来形容这个奇异的地方比较肤浅,但并无贬低之意。
My house was at the very tip of the egg, only fifty yards from the Sound, and squeezed between two huge places that rented for twelve or fifteen thousand a season.
我的小屋在东卵最靠近海峡那端,离海峡只有50码(在蛋蛋的尖端,靠近海峡的那一头),被两处季租金在一万二和一万五之间的巨大地方围绕。
The one on my right was a colossal affair by any standard – it was a factual imitation of some Hotel de Ville in Normandy, with a tower on one side, spanking new under a thin beard of raw ivy, and a marble swimming pool, and more than forty across of lawn and garden.
右边是一栋用任何标准来衡量都是巨大的建筑——它完全仿造诺曼底市政厅建造,房子的一端有一个塔,表面覆盖着一层薄薄的常春藤,一个大理石的游泳池,和超过40码的草坪和花园。
It was Gatsby’s mansion, or, rather, as I didn’t know Mr Gatsby, it was a mansion, inhabited by a gentleman of that name. My own house was an eyesore, but it was a small eyesore, and it had been overlooked, so I had a view of the water, a partial view of my neighbour’s lawn, and the consoling proximity of millionaires – all for eighty dollars a months.
这是盖茨比的宅邸,我与他从未谋面,应该说,这是一位名叫盖茨比的绅士的宅邸。我的房子就如同珍珠里的砂砾,毫不起眼。于是我只需要每月付80美金,就能欣赏到海,瞥见邻居的草坪,近距离的观察土豪。
 Across the courtesy bay the white palace of fashionable East Egg glittered along the water, and the history of the summer really begins on the evening I drove over there to have dinner with the Tom Buchannans. Daisy was my second cousin once removed, and I’d known Tom in college. And just after the war I spent two days with them in Chicago.
海峡对面海湾的另一边,一栋白色宫殿坐落在富庶东卵波光粼粼的海上,在我驱车前往与汤姆进餐的晚上,我才意识到夏日真正到来了。黛西是我二表妹(hehehehe),以前搬走了,汤姆是我大学同学。战后我仅在芝加哥与他们共聚过2日。
Her husband, among various physical accomplishments, had been one of the most powerful ends that ever played football at New Haven – a national figure in a way, one of those men who reach such an acute limited excellence at twenty-one that everything afterwards savours of anticlimax. His family were enormously wealthy – even in college his freedom with money was a matter for reproach – but now he’d left Chicago and come East in a fashion that rather took your breath away; for instance, he’s brought down a string of polo ponies from Lack Forest. It was hard to realize that a man in my own generation was wealthy enough to do that.
汤姆,她的丈夫,取得过许多运动成就,是全明星球员之一,曾在纽黑文市打过球-某种程度上来说是国家级的,在21岁时到达了难以超越的巅峰之后便漫不经心。他的家族非常的富庶,在学校时他就因为奢侈而饱受诟病,如今他离开芝加哥,以一种令人屏息的排场进入东蛋蛋。譬如,他特意从森林湖买了一批马球用的小马驹。在我的家族里没有人可以这样做。(真·土豪)
