is a character that plays tricks.

Some tricksters are clever, or smart. Some are silly. These qualities
make trickster stories funny.

有些骗子很聪明,有些很愚蠢。这些特点使得关于骗子的故事都很有趣。

Stories about tricksters come from everywhere. You can find a
trickster story, or folktale, in almost every country and culture in the
world.

关于骗子的故事随处可见。你几乎可以在任何国家和文化里找到关于骗子的故事。

Coyote is a trickster in Native American tales. Coyote like to brag
and tell stories that are not true. His boastfulness gets him into
trouble.

丛林狼在美洲土著故事中就是一个骗子的形象。丛林狼喜欢自吹,喜欢讲一些不真实的故事。他的自吹自擂总使它身处困境。

In one tale, Coyote says he can fly. He sticks crow feathers on his
back. Do you think a coyote can really fly?

Brer Rabbit is a trickster from African American folktales. He often
tricks characters bigger than he is.

贝尔兔是来自非裔美国人的民间故事里的一个骗子。他经常欺骗比他大的角色。

In one tale, Brer Rabbit tries to sneak into a garden. He gets stuck
in a trap.

Brer Rbbit talks Bear into changing places with him. Just like that,
Bear gets stuck, and Brer Rabbit gets away.

其中的一个故事是贝尔兔想要偷偷溜进院子里,但他中了埋伏。

贝尔兔说服熊和他换位置。就这样,熊被困了而贝尔兔逃走了。

The Monkey King is a trickster from China. He likes to be bad and
make mischief.

In one tale, Monkey King tricks his friends into working for him
while he rests in a nearby tree.

Folktales from France tell about Reynard the Fox. In one tale, the
tricky fox plays dead.

列那狐来自法国的民间故事。在一个故事里他玩起了装死。

A farmer throws Reynard into his wagon. There, the clever fox eats
the farmer's food as the wagon rolls along.

一个农民把列那狐扔进了他的货车里。于是聪明的狐狸边随着货车走边吃着农民的食物。

Anansi the spider is a trickster from West Africa. He always wants
more than he has. His greediness gets him into trouble.

Once Anansi tried to trick a fisherman. The fisherman was smart. He
tricked Anansi. The greedy spider ended up with no fish at all.

阿南西是一只来自西非的骗子蜘蛛。他总是想要更多的东西。他的贪婪使得他陷入麻烦。
