It may seem that there’s nothing you can do about your stress level.

对于于自己的抗压能力,你似乎感到无能为力。

The bills aren’t going to stop coming,there will never be more hours in the day for all your errands,and your study will lways be demanding.

该来的挡不住,然后你整天为差事应接不暇,学习将会一直拖后腿。

But you have a lot more control than you might think..

但是你比想象的更能够控制脾气。

In fact,the simple realization that you’re in control of your life is the foundation of stress management.

实际上,拥有“你的生活由你主导”这种基本意识就是压力管理的基础。

Managing stress is all about taking charge:taking charge of your thoughts,your emotions,your schedule,your
envioronment,and the way you deal with problems.

控制压力关乎于控制:控制你的想法,情绪,日程,环境,以及你处理问题的方式。

The ultimate goal is a balanced life.

其最终的目的是平衡生活。

It starts with identifying the sources of stress in your life.

它开始于首先意识到生活中的压力来源。

This isn’t as easy as it sounds.

这并没有听起来的那么容易。

Your true sources of stress aren’t always obvious,and it’s all too easy to overlook your own stress——including thoughts,feelings,and behaviors.

真正压力的来源并不总那么明显,你太容易忽视掉自己的压力——包括想法,感受,行为。

Sure,you may know that you’re constantly worried about work deadlines.

当然,你可能感受到自己老担忧着工作的截止日期。

But maybe it’s your procrastination,rather than the actual job demands,that leads to deadline stress.

但这也许只是你的拖延症,而并非实际上工作需要所导致的截止期限的压力。
